A revolution in natural extraction technology
Pioneered by Firmenich, Firgood® technology is a patented process that enables the processing of biomasses never previously used in the industry of natural ingredients.
This groundbreaking technology utilizes electromagnetic waves to extract the inherent water, carrying the odorant particles, of precious raw materials. The results are radically pure, 100% natural and solvent-free extracts that are good-for-the-planet. Residues can be upcycled or re-used to create new products with complimentary profiles.
We have successfully scaled-up from a lab and pilot plant to two industrial lines, offering production capacity that ranges from hundreds of kilograms to several tons of primary extracts. The development of this brand-new industrial facility in our Naturals Center of Excellence in Grasse reinforces our continued leadership in naturals.
