サンダルウッド, フローラル
Florsantol offers a clear, milky sandalwood note, distinguished by its sweetness and floral rosy undertones. This ingredient is highly appreciated by perfumers for its ability to create a smooth, ambery effect.
This ingredient is highly effective for fine-tuning perfumes, giving a natural aspect to any composition. Additionally, it serves as an excellent fixative and can enhance a floral sandalwood effect in fragrances.
dsm-firmenich uses the upcycled Turpentine extracted from the paper industry, often those that use softwood to manufacture cardboard. Derived originally from softwoods, this turpentine is valorized through a fractionation process in which we retrieve alpha and beta pinene, the two main molecules obtained from fractionated turpentine.
To offer alternatives to natural wood resources, dsm-firmenich scientists developed a range of more affordable, sustainable offerings. The first woody molecule introduced was Z11™ in 1961, then came POLYSANTOL®, the first sandalwood molecule in 1985.
