Rose absolutes offer a variation of floral, spicy Rose, more or less sweet, animalic or fruity according to origins.

Used in Fine Fragrance, gives a sweet floral rosy note, very complex and long lasting.

A primary extraction with a volatile solvent on fresh or dry biomass yields to a Concrete or Resinoid.
The Absolute is obtained via a second purification step in the process.

200 000 flowers app. to produce 1 Kg of absolute.
600 kg of flowers are necessary to obtain 1 Kg of absolute.
