AQUAMATE® shows different olfactive aspects. Its woody and herbal notes are mixed with fruity, floral as well ozone-like scents. AQUAMATE® evokes an invigorating early morning atmosphere, a kind of prelude to a short journey in wild rivers.

It is particularly recommended for soaps, shampoos or shower-gels compositions but also finds its place in fine fragrances.

dsm-firmenich uses the upcycled Turpentine extracted from the paper industry, often those that use softwood to manufacture cardboard. Derived originally from softwoods, this turpentine is valorized through a fractionation process in which we retrieve alpha and beta pinene, the two main molecules obtained from fractionated turpentine.

Chemical synthesis corresponds to the construction of complex chemical compounds from simpler ones.
