One of the very first watery molecules introduced to the perfumery industry was CALONE®, the sole responsible for launching the marine fragrance trend of the 1990s. Due to its success our R&D program was launched to discover further ingredients with a similar structure.
This watery molecule comes in the footsteps of dsm-firmenich work initiated in the 1990s on the development of new marine notes and CALONE® analogues.
