An elegant and transparent floral jasmine note with a refreshing hint of citrus. Its natural white flower effect infuses perfumes with luminosity and silkiness.

HEDIONE® enhances floral notes in perfumes, granting presence, noticeability and diffusion without necessarily intensifying strength. Used in jasmine and white flower reconstitutions. Typically dosed between 2% and 15%, it can also be employed as a filler.

The HEDIONE® family began with dsm-firmenich's discovery of the molecule HEDIONE® in 1958, as part of the methyl jasmonate synthesis. Further ingredients continue to be developed to meet additional specific technical needs, such as a heightened stability or strength.
