Producing and partnering at source
We source all our natural ingredients in ways that respect and benefit growers and their communities. We operate in line with our own Responsible Sourcing Policy and run a supplier improvement program.
We run an ambitious global partnering program to complement our two Naturals production sites at Grasse, France and Lakeland, USA. Altogether, our Naturals come from more than 45 countries. They are grown and harvested by millions of farmers and extracted by hundreds of producers.
We partner with producers in fair business, innovation and responsible sourcing projects, in ways that meet their expectations – including minority and majority shareholders, joint ventures or premium partnerships.

NATURALSTOGETHER™ is originally a gathering of 23 world’s leading natural ingredient suppliers willing to engage with Firmenich in sharing experiences, progress and their vision of the future of naturals. This highly collaborative initiative offers our customers full transparency and access to operations at source. It illustrates best practices in supply chains management and facilitates shared innovation that combines sourcing practices and technology.
